Tough injection-molded wheeled case is designed with rigid reinforced walls to give maximum protection for even the most sensitive equipment. The extendable handle and 2 in. wheels make maneuvering with heavy loads easy. The case features three metal spring-loaded handles and stainless steel twist-lock latches. A waterproof, dustproof O-ring seal protects valuable contents including instrumentation, sales presentation packages, test equipment, photographic equipment, and other delicate items.

The UWK 1022 Transport Case is available as a LoadOut Case or a Transit Case. The 1022 Loadout Cases are made from automobile grade, micro-cellular foamed, reinforced polypropylene resin. This results in a case that is lighter in weight and more chemically resistant. The design of the Loadout Case, based on this polypropylene resin blend, brings up to a 20 percent reduction in weight from the 1022 Transit Cases add a significant increase in impact resistance over its competitors. Loadout Cases are made with more cost effective neoprene o-rings. Both materials are tough, impact resistant and offer water, dust, and corrosion proof protection. 1022 Transit Case – ABS, short for Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene, is a durable and rigid plastic that withstands freezing temperatures better than PP. ABS can be solvent-welded, so modification/customization options are almost limitless. It is also field repairable, making ABS perfect for expeditionary or military use. Unlike our competitors, we add a UV inhibitor to the raw material, so all of the ABS cases are UV resistant. 1022 LoadOut Case – Polypropylene (PP) is automotive grade with microcellular foam for weight reduction and solid additives for shape stability. PP cases are 20% lighter and more impact resistant than ABS. PP has very high chemical resistance, so it can be used to store corrosive materials. However, it cannot be glued or solvent-welded back together (i.e., field repaired) if damaged. Accessories such as panel rings must be screwed to the case, not glued. This limits customization. PP performs better than ABS when hot, but cracks more easily when cold.
